The kids fail at their group magic project, so Jerry devises a plan that will force them to work together. Now Alex must wrestle with sacrificing her first one-on-one date with Dean so that she and Justin can help Max's superhero "Maximan" solve the crime and prove to Jerry that the siblings can work as a team.

Demi Wows Fans at the Texas State Fair

What a day Demi had yesterday. She performed to a huge crowd at the New Albany Classic near Columbus, Ohio and then flew to Texas to perform at the state fair the same day!

Here's a snippet of the Texas State Fair review from the Dallas News:

Several moms said they approved of their daughters' obsession with the singer. They said her lyrics were clean and her image wholesome.

"She's a good role model," said Imelda Lopez, who brought her daughter and niece.

Screaming fans snapped photos with their cellphones, clapped and waved their arms overhead continuously.

Concert of Hope & TRL Officially Canceled

Demi was featured at the Concert of Hope which happened on Sunday along with Jonas Brothers & Miley Cyrus.

The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato joined Miley to support the benefit concert, aiding cancer research and treatment programs of City of Hope. Last year, Disney donated $1 from every ticket sold during her highly successful “Best of Both Worlds” concert tour to cancer research at City of Hope. The concert series raised more than $1 million.

Now, TRL getting canceled...

According to JustJared.com, it says that it's official that TRL is going to be canceled.

Total Request Live, better known as TRL, has been officially canceled after ten years. (This was a rumor back in Feburary, but it’s a done deal now.)

TRL executive producer Dave Sirulnick said that show, which is taped in Times Square, will take its final bow in a two-hour special on a Saturday afternoon in November. He added that show isn’t “ending for good” but needs a “break.”

Originally hosted by Carson Daly, the music video countdown show premiered music videos and helped to launch the careers of Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, ‘NSync and other teen pop acts.

You may think that this isn't related to Demi & Selena but if you think about it, it kinda does...
Just recently... like yesterday... I posted a blog entry saying that you can now vote for Selena's music video for 'Tell Me Something I Don't Know' but now you can't because of TRL getting canceled. And Demi didn't get her chance to shine at TRL to show off her sick music video for 'Get Back'. I'm not trying to say that Demi isn't famous enough but it would be great if her video was premiered on TRL to show who she really is instead of being known as being Mitchie in Camp Rock... which is nice but it would be even more nice if people knew who 'Demi' was.

And how are we going to get excited about Jonas Brothers's new music videos... like Lovebug?

Another Cinderella Story Premiere features on JustJared.com

As you know, the premiere for Another Cinderella Story was today and JustJared.com has captured some news about the movie.

Disney starlet Selena Gomez attends the premiere of her straight to DVD movie Another Cinderella Story at the Grove Pacific Theaters in Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday.

The 16-year old actress stopped to speak to reporters and posed with fans on the red carpet!

Co-star Andrew Seeley was also on-hand for the festivities.

Directed by Damon Santostefano, the film has a target release of Sept. 16.

The film (via IMDB) is about a guy (Seeley) who dances with what could be the girl (Gomez) of his dreams at a costume ball and only has one hint at her identity: the Zune she left behind as she rushed home in order to make her curfew. And with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity in front of him, he sets out to find his masked beauty.

ANOTHER CINDERELLA STORY COMES OUT ON DVD ON SEPTEMBER 16!!!

A little description about Don't Forget :D

Demi Lovato 'Don't Forget' description: With producer Jon Fields at the helm, Demi teamed up with Jonas Brothers to co-write several of the album's 11 songs. It was a natural collaboration, since Demi counts Nick, Joe and Kevin..

..among her best friends. Their inerrant feel for hook-laden rock helped Demi deliver on her vision. "If I were to write the album by myself it would probably have been a little more serious," she notes. "But I didn't want that. I wanted..

.. a fun album." It's hard to imagine anything more musically fun than full-out rockers like "Get Back" and "Gonna Get Caught," both written by Demi with Jonas Brothers.

Says Demi, "So many guys cheat and play games. I thought there needed to be a song about a guy getting caught. Nick said, `Can't it have a happy ending?' But I said, `No, no, no!'"

She balances the uptempo tracks with sweeping ballads like "Two Worlds" and "Believe in Me," the latter featuring a message Demi takes seriously.

"Being a teenage girl you deal with insecurity," she says. "People think if you're in the spotlight, you're overly confident, but most of us deal with so much criticism, it gets to us. I'm the type of person who wants to take it with a grain of salt."

Demi's vulnerable side comes through on "Until Your Mine" and the title track, a touching ballad (co-written with Jonas Brothers) about a faltering relationship.

She explores similar territory in "On the Line," an uptempo duet she co-wrote and sings with Nick Jonas. "We wanted to write a breakup song," Demi says, "and what better way to say it when you're breaking up over the phone than with the title `On the Line.'"

Demi's inner rocker girl comes roaring back on "Party" and "LA LA Land," a droll take on SoCal life and all its attending artifice. Showing her songwriting skills Demi wrote "Trainwreck" all by herself.

She wraps the album with "The Middle," a strikingly
mature song about finding balance in love and life.
